• Check your winter protection structures are still securely in place
• Check that greenhouse heaters are working OK
• Prevent ponds and outside water pipes from freezing
• Prune apples and pears
• Deciduous trees and shrubs can still be planted and transplanted
• Keep mice away from stored produce in sheds or garages
• Firm the ground around plants lifted by frost
• Dig over ground reserved for annuals next year
• Wrap any Mediterranean type shrubs in protective fleece – contact GP Garden Services to purchase fleece
• Remove heavy falls of snow from hedges, shrubs and trees so that they are not weighed down
• Service or have serviced garden tools as necessary
